This is a sculpted dog that will go through mold and model stages before ending up as eight cast sculptures on Shepard Hall, the  building project I've been working on in the day job for ten years.  This dog is the only one of the 60,000 original pieces for which we had no existing piece to cast from; they'd all broken and been destroyed over the past 100 years one way or another.  Two extremely talented sculptors working for the casting contractor replicated this from old photos.
